2 heartbeats!?🤔❤️❤️

I’m using the Doppler at home and I hear a heart beat on the left and the right side of my pelvic area. I’ve only seen one baby at my 7wk US and I’m almost 15 wks now. Is it just picking up the same heart beat from a different spot?🤔 they’re both very loud, strong, and fast. ❤️☺️❤️

It’s possible to pick up two heart beats on different spots of your belly. If one sounds more muffled than the other, you’re hearing the baby’s heartbeat through the umbilical cord. When it’s clear, that’s through the chest.

Same thing happened to me. I heard two fast heartbeats but my ultrasounds have shown I’m pregnant with only one little one. Sometimes you can hear the same heartbeat from different angles depending on baby’s position or an echo. Then again you just never know! You won’t know for sure til you get an ultrasound.

Your most likely listening to the placenta or your own heartbeat. A doctor would be able to tell at 7 weeks if there was 2 sacs
