When do I start?

Hey y'all. I'm 15, and I  just got a prescription for birth control today...

Anyway, my doctor said that I could start like today or I could also start on my "cycle". Idk if she means menstrual cycle or something else. So, when should I start?

Here's the picture of the pills. Also, another question, do I take these while I'm on my menstrual cycle?

She means you can start your first pack and pill on the first day of your period. When you start like that you are protected from pregnancy right away. If you start the Sunday after your period you will need to use a backup method like condoms for a week.
