Baking soda gender test anyone? ?
So I have heard of all these old wives tales about how to tell what you are having and was wondering if anyone has tried any???
With my first pregnancy from the beginning I wants sweets. Be it fruit or chocolate. I needed sweets. I had a girl. I hear this is common.
With my second I had a boy and I could not get enough meat. I didn't really crave sweets- except for chocolate peanut butter ice cream- but oh man a bacon burger. I also had ridiculous heart burn for the first time in my life.
I was talking to my boss and coworker today and they both said they felt the same. One has a boy the other two girls and lost a boy at 9 months when she was injured in a car accident.
One told me that her grandmother made her do all the crazy tests from baking soda to cabbage to drano to the ring on the chain. Every one said boy and sure enough she had a boy.
Out of random curiosity since I had to change the baking soda in the fridge tonight so I googled how to do it. There was no real time line on when it should be done but oh my goodness. I have been feeling more boy than girl with this one at 6 weeks. Sweets are kind of a turn off right now. Sure enough it foamed and fizzled like a shaken soda and said boy!!
I am not rushing out to buy anything blue by any means until I have a gender ultrasound but am curious as to who has tried this and was it accurate? Will you try it, have you tried other methods? We're they accurate?
