Aspirin?

I've had 2 back to back miscarriages so far. This time my Dr wants to try baby aspirin and progesterone. I'm completely fine with progesterone. For some reason though every time I research taking aspirin and the side effects, I get really nervous/stressed about the risk of bleeding and other complications from the aspirin. I've also never taken aspirin before. Anyone have any advice or experience with this?

Ive has three miscarriages saw a specialist and diagnosed with MTHFR mutation associated with recurrent loss. I’m on a supplement of methylfolate and baby aspirin. I’ve had numerous drs say women with multiple loss should take baby aspirin it prevents blood clots. For me my mutation mimics a blood clotting disorder so the baby aspirin helps prevent issues with my body attacking a healthy pregnancy, which is where I am now 😊 it absolutely doesn’t hurt can only help & im to take it all 9 months id trust the dr I wish you the best Of luck

Aspirin just thins the blood. I wouldn’t be worried if the dr has suggested it but that’s just me. I trust my dr to do what he thinks is best for me.

Baby aspirin is a really low dose. I took it my whole pregnancy with my son. I had no bleeding issues.

Does your doctor want you to do the aspirin and progesterone while ttc or when you get your bfp? I'm in the same situation as you and was curious because we have been having a harder time conceiving this time around and the only thing that is different is the aspirin so I stopped taking it this month to see if that makes a difference.
