Ovulation and Pregnancy Testing! When do I take the tests?!?!

So my husband and I have been trying for close to 4 years to have a baby! None yet but this month is the first month I have ovulated. I took two tests and they were both positive for ovulation. My husband and I did have sex (obviously that’s how babies are made). One of my two questions are is it possible to have sex too much when ovulating? I know you should everyday while the tests are positive but is more than once a day harmful? And after the ovulation period is over when do I take a pregnancy test? I know normally it would be when you miss your next period but I don’t get monthly periods. Typically I take hormonal supplements to start a period. So is there a typical time period like 2 weeks or something. Please no judgement, these are serious questions. I’m not stupid I just don’t have much experience with this.
