choking while bottle feeding?

i am using medela nipples to bottle feed my 12 day old daughter. i am selling the flow less by keeping bottle less titled but since three days she would hold milk in her mouth then cough but then does not breathe and choke unless i Pat at her back. our pedi is saying that it is normal but my baby does not seem normal. any one had similar situation?

We were using tomee tippee bottles and he wasn’t sucking right and getting a lot of air so we switched to dr Brown bottles and now he sucks a lot better and refuses any other bottle. I know it’s not the same as choking but I do suggest trying a different bottle just to see if it helps.

we use the dr browns bottles too. also experiment with different flow nipples. the slowest flow avent ones were too fast even. we use dr browns level 1. they have premie and ultra premie too!
