I took a shot on March 9 for birth control. It called depo shot. So, I was 34 days late on it. I went to doctor to see check if I am pregnant or not. But! I am not pregnant. I went to get shot. So, since that, I feeling weird, attitude change, pee a lot after sex, headaches, and eat so much if I am not hungry. I had sex every weekend. I am tired sometimes. My back is hurt sometimes. My belly look big because depo gain the weight.  I don’t know what to do. Do I need to take pregnant test? But it will be negative! Help!

You need a new birth control. My doctors office doesn’t even hand out resources on depo anymore. It’s that bad 😬

No those are the side effects of it. And because of it and the nonstop bleeding I had for 4 months i will never get it again.

depo is the worst form of birth control out on the market. you should switch to something that is not so hard on the body.  depo is not to be used longer then 2 years. while on depo you need to have bone density checked and long term effect is osteoporosis.

That method was horrible for me . I constantly bled, and had horrible cramps and back pain for months on end . I went back for my 3rd shot and I some how had conceived . I ended up losing the baby, and it took quite awhile for me to become regular again on my cycle . I gained weight, got ache, my symptoms were just all over the place . Worst bc EVER !

I don’t think your preg, to me it sounds like the side effects from the shot

No you don’t need a pregnancy test but the depo shot has terrible side effects (I know from experience) so maybe ask your doctor about switching to a different form of contraception.
