Malaria tablets and pregnant
Has anyone taken malaria tablets whilst pregnant? I’ve been advised the only type I can take is Mefloquine but I’ve heard awful stories regarding the side effects.
Has anyone else taken malaria tablets whilst pregnant and if so, did they work and did you suffer from any bad side effects?
I’m terrified after reading they’re only 90% effective and they don’t stop malaria they only minimise the symptoms.
