Hard to get up?

I’ll be 26 weeks tomorrow.. and I’m finding out lately how much of a struggle it is to get up from laying down! My only thoughts are wow I still have a long way to go and my belly is only gonna get bigger.. anyone else finding it difficult at around 26 weeks to get up from couch? Lol

I’m 26 weeks with twins and have to roll off the couch now 😂

Oh yes I feel like a turtle. My three year old even sees me struggling and will try his best to help me up lol

I use my dogs to get me up. They will sit next to me so I just hug them on my side and ease my way up. Lol.  Nah, I do the penguin waddle like one of those old boppy punch dolls. Whatever u call them.

Yes, I’m not big at all yet either but with the gut muscles all stretched out, I’m realizing I’m straining em getting up like normal

I’m 24 weeks now and every time I get up from the bed I struggle and feel like a turtle on its shell 😩 and I know it’s only going to get bigger and harder

Lol I feel your pain I’m finding myself heard that direction. What worked for me best last time is just rolling to my side and throwing my legs over first then getting up. You’ll use your arms a lot! Just remember slow and steady wins the race

yep, it's the lack of stomach muscle and yes it will get worse lol

Oh yeah! It’s time for the roll to your side and push up with your arm...it’s the worst! Make sure you aren’t straining, otherwise you risk separating your an muscles...

When I get up all night long to go potty I have to put my arms behind me and push myself up on the bed:)
