honestly, everyone says to use first morning urine because it's supposedly more concentrated, but I think it depends on the person. My urine is definitely most concentrated in the late morning-afternoon, and my tests are darker when I use later morning urine. I think it's because I run around in the mornings and afternoons so I'm more dehydrated, while at night I relax and drink a lot of water, so my urine is more dilute first thing in the morning and the tests are not as dark
