Trying to figure out if I'm wasting money on the expensive tests.

They definitely arent all the same...different tests have different sensitivity levels. First response is supposed to be the most sensitive out there.

I used a cheap one from amazon that came in an ovulates then kit. Then I used a digital clear blue just get that “official” wording where I wouldn’t second guessing it.

I have had a false positive on Clearblue. I found out later that I hadn't even ovulated in months. The line appeared in the correct timeframe, clear as day.

I got 3 bfp’s on dollar store tests.I thought they were a fluke but once I got the first positive on an extra my friend had and it was confirmed at the doctor I just didn’t see the point in spending more money. I tested day of missed period though so I don’t know about early testing.

I actually got positives on the cheap dollar tree tests (at 8dpo) the day before I got a positive on a first response.
