This is what birth CAN and SHOULD be!!

I cry every time I watch this. Women should be able to birth like this (serious medical issues withstanding).  Not on their back (which is bio mechanically counterintuitive), not strapped down and locked into stirrups, with a doctor right up in their business, covered in monitors and IVs with drugs, with unnecessary checks and intrusive tools, unable to eat or drink anything... And I'm speaking as someone who's given birth drug free in an American hospital. I wish women would be more open to a natural drug free birth. If not, at least be fully educated on what your birth choices mean consequentially for you and your baby. Birth can and should be beautiful, empowering, raw and incredible!!!
