is buying a doppler worthwhile?

I loved having one. We used it until I could feel him moving. At first it can be hard to find the heartbeat but after a while it’s easier to find.

If you know what you’re listening for it’s amazing. It took a lot of YouTube videos before I felt confident I was listening to baby and not just my own heartbeat. 😂
I was obsessed with it in my second pregnancy when I bought it, but this time I am 25w tomorrow and used it once or twice. I think once you can feel baby moving a lot more you tend not to use it as you know (hopefully) everything is okay. 
I know midwifes don’t exactly recommend them as as I said, many women pick up their own heartbeat or something else; and just assume everything is okay and are reassured by this; which isn’t always the case.

I used it a lot after 10 weeks. Found the heartbeat right away at 10 weeks. Don’t use it as much now (15w5d) after April 16th appointment I felt more secure that nothing bad was happening and that we had a healthy little girl.

I had one with my 2nd child and loved it found it so comforting every evening listening to every heartbeat every move and the kicks I'll definitely be buying one when this baby comes xx

I wouldn’t, the amount of posts on here about women freaking out because they can’t find the baby’s heartbeat isn’t worth it. 
In my opinion, Trust your DR’s & the process with your body.

If you find the heartbeat.. great but if you don’t you’ll panic and think there’s no baby,
I bought one couldn’t find it for a few days but now i have and I’m more relaxed for my scan next week as last time i had a mc so for me best thing i did but don’t get too addicted you might not find the heartbeat all the time

I bought one after my missed miscarriage and didn't use it much. By the time you can pick up the heartbeat pretty easily (it's harder than it looks, you mostly pick up your own or the placenta) then within a few weeks you start feeling the baby kick anyway. If you can't find the heartbeat you'll inevitably worry.
