NIPT worth it?

Did anyone do the Harmony NIPT test? It’s extra money but my doc said it’s much more accurate. I don’t have my genetic history so we opted for it. Wondering about all the other mamas out there.

We just did it and got our results back.  Hearing good news early in the pregnancy is so awesome.  It only tests for a few chromosomal abnormalities though, I think that I had a misunderstanding of that when I did the test, I though it was going to be able to screen for a lot more than it actually does.  Plus we got to find out at 13 and a weeks that we're having a little boy, which is crazy to find out so early 💙

I did Harmony with my first and just had blood drawn for Panorama today.  It is a more accurate screening test than a normal NT scan with the bonus of revealing the sex of the baby if you so choose.  I think it would be worth the cost but my insurance also covers it.  If you have to pay out of pocket, the manufacturers will usually give a discount or a payment plan.

we did too since I don't know my dad.  well worth the piece of mind.  at the bottom of the results it gave the accuracy of it and it was 95 to99%. and it didn't take long for results to come back, maybe a week?

I didn’t do the harmony I did tell the brand innatal which I paid $100. Both my husband and I thought it was worth the piece of mind 😊

I had it done with my daughter. With my current pregnancy I will have it done again for peace of mind. I personally think it’s worth the extra money.
