Anybody doing the genetics test?

They asked me yesterday I’m still thinking about it had anybody gotten it and how did it go ? And if they tell you the gender is it accurate?

Hopefully my doctor will offer it but I'm asking for it when I go the 11th  third child but you never know .. I want to be prepared in anyway and it should tell gender which to me is also important

I didn’t do it with my son, but I might this time. At my sIL’s anatomy scan my nephew had a soft indicator for Down’s syndrome. But because they already had the testing done, they knew he didn’t have it.

I believe it’s 100% accurate if it indicates a boy, 98% if it indicates girl because a little guys DNA may not have made it into the sample. 
We had it done with my son, and will have it done again. Currently trying to decide if we will also agree to CVS, NT scan, and/or Amnio as I’m officially 35 and ancient.

I’ll have it done. Had it done with my first two. They were accurate. I asked the ultrasound tech if they ever had a blood test wrong and she said out of the thousands she has seen and her co workers had seen that had the blood test only 2 have ever been wrong in that practice and this was at a huge hospital.
