please help!

ok I had sex on ovulation day which was on the 22nd of aparil. i am now 9dpo. all these apps that I have say i may start my period on the 5th of this month.(I'm irregular btw.) I have a 35 day cycle and I'm on CD 33. I started noticing when I wiped that I had Brownish red discharge and I'm thinking I start my period today. i went to the bathroom at 12 am but when I wiped again there was nothing. then I swabbed and there was nothing but red dots. I had cramping lastnight I had forgot to mention....but can someone please tell me what this may look like? im thinking it's just my period blood not wanting to come out right now?? lol...
