C section

I'm scheduled for a c section on the 10th. But my husband just got hired and starts training at a new job on the 6th and he can't miss any days during training. Since my c section is at 8 am the 10th he would miss it! I do not want to wait any longer than I have to see my baby because of a job so I'm thinking of asking my dr to do it maybe the 3rd or on the weekend (4th or 5th) that way my husband can go work Monday the 6th. Do you think he'll do it? Has anyone else done this? I would ask if he could do it the afternoon of the 10th but my husband works til 8 and is half an hour away and I'm not sure when they would be able to do it.
