Blood pressure scare 😣😣

Sumayyah • GOD 1ST❤️🙏🏻, Angel Mommy to a baby boy named Adonis Asher Jackson❤️👶🏻 06/07/17❤️ Mommy to a rainbow baby named Micah Ibrihim💙🥰 Pregnant and expecting twins September 2021❤️

I’m at the doctor rn .. So when I started my pregnancy my blood pressure was at 114/80over the normal rate which I’m unsure then it went to 120/80and then to 130/80. I’m really afraid. Like why does it keep going up? I’m 15+2.. I’m switching doctors today as well because my doctor can’t take me after 20 weeks..his insurance doesn’t cover it. I’m very horrified. I don’t want anything to happen to me or my baby. I haven’t been prescribed any blood pressure medication yet, but does it really work? Like if I do get if I need which I hope I don’t, is it gonna work? I’m scared shitless...😣😣😣PLEASE COMMENT

BP in the 130s isn’t anything to worry about. If it was in the 160s that’s a different story.

Ok well your doctor has the medical license, so listen to them :) don’t worry until there’s a need to

My doctor said the same but I’m just scared.

I’m sure if your blood pressure continues to be high during your appointments your doctor will bring that up with you. Plus you should always be able to bring any concerns or questions to his attention to help ease your mind.

I’m changing doctors, I’m going back to my old doctor, because he can’t take patients after 20 weeks, so I’m hoping since I will be around several midwives they will be more concerned about my feelings

120 is perfect blood pressure. 130 is not horrible either. You might of freaked yourself out and that will make it go up too.

That really not a huge jump. They will most likely just monitor it for right now

Yes, your nerves will do it doesn't take much. I just gave birth but every appt. I had with my midwife, my bp would be elevated due to nerves and I never had a problem with it either. I purchased a wrist bp reader for home just to reassure myself that it was fine.
