I am exclusively pumping. He wouldn’t latch so I had to but I am ok with it lol.

I supplemented in the hospital because he dropped a good amount of birthweight and was slightly jaundiced. We started cutting back when he was about a week and we’ve been exclusively breastfeeding for about 5 days now. Transitioning to exclusive breastfeeding has been rough. He’s been cluster feeding to try and build my supply back up and also because he’s having a little growth spurt. I feel like I haven’t done anything in 72 hours besides feed him.

I’m pumping around 30ml-50ml (1oz) every 2-3hrs.... baby girl is 2 weeks + 4, so 1oz isn’t enough for her. I’m adding in formula too because of low supply... but my supply is slowly creeping up as I pump more. Hopefully it will improve enough to give her more breast milk. I’m determined not to give up on my breast milk completely.
