i shouldnt do modeling since i have kids?

after a divorce, im deciding to get back into my dreams, which is modeling. been having that dream since i was a middle schooler, im 23 now. i gave it up after i married, i wasnt allowed to model cause of his insecurities. i plan to do import modeling. anyways, i have 2 boys, everyone is saying that i shouldnt be modeling cause ill be a bad role model to my kids. its immature and shameful, what will my kids do, seeing their mother half naked, etc. they said i should have my kids live w their father if i decide to be an import model. but then, hes abusive, i dont want him to abuse them. are what they say true? i shouldnt do modeling since i have kids cause itll be shameful and not good for them?
