Cervix checkers/miscarriage

Recently had a miscarriage at 6 weeks last week and my cervix is still very high and closed? No HcG in system from what I can tell on a home pregnancy test( still haventheard back from doctor on blood results) doctor not really saying much, just ordered a lot of bloodwork and a pelvic ultrasound.

Anyway my question is to whomever has had anything like this is when did your cervix return to normal?
