How do I track this?

Sorry for the tmi but I need to get some clarification that I really can’t find online. Typically my period will be moderate bleeding for two days. And then on the 3rd day it will be like this brown tinge color, blood, I assume. This brown tinge color will happen only when I wipe. Just need to understand do I include these 3-5 days that I have into my mensuration? So instead of my period being tracked as 2 days it’s really 5-7 days? I want to make sure I am tracking my cycle accurately. Thanks for the help on this kind of weird question.
