Painful pregnant sex

The last 3 times I’ve had sex it has been very painful! During seems to be okay could use a little lube to make it better but after I’m burning and swollen! I’m 20 weeks pregnant and have read that this is normal due to hormones and blood flow. But does it ease up or is sex gonna suck from now on till after recovery from baby??
