Clearblue OPK

Has anyone else had issues with Clearblue advanced giving them a blinking smiley face everyday you test with them? I used it a few months ago and it gave me a blinking smiley face for 12 days in a row and never once a solid smiley face. So this month I have been using both Clearblue advanced and the test strips and since Monday I've had blinking smiley face every day but the strips have two lines but definitely not ovulating yet... has anyone had issues with always getting a smiley faces??

Also it is my first time using the strips and I'm concerned that the strips aren't getting darker as I get closer to my ovulation date 5/5. Is that a bad sign?
