So totally random..


As title suggests - just wondered if anyone else has the same problem or if I’m just an awful cook.

Why does my mince go like mushy tasteless dog food when put in the slow cooker?!

- I cook for hours which you’d think would bring out the flavour.

- it smells amazing when cooking!

- I season with herbs, onions, stock cubes - anything really.

- I only buy 5% fat mince which is more expensive.

But comes out tasteless and the consistency of mushy dog mince. 🤢🤢

I literally cannot eat it and it’s such a shame and a disappointment for something that’s been cooking away all day!

Tastes amazing if cooked in a frying pan with same ingredients.

What am I doing wrong?!
