Would you recommend having a child at age 20 if you have your own house and are on stable income? Why or why not?

enjoy your youth and your freedom!!!! party, travel, do stupid shit! there's time for babies later!
I loved my 20's, they were so fun! the last I wanted to do was stay home with a baby! 
I'm 30 now, pregnant with number 1 and don't regret any of it!
to each their own but freedom in your 40sis different then freedom in your 20's!

this is a very "debatable" topic tbh! but i'm someone that sees both sides 
YES- because if your stable, with a very good relationship then why wouldn't you have a baby now - if you want a baby. 
People always say "no" have a baby later and live your life now but why can you have a baby now and "live your life" when there in there teens cause you will still be young then? 
my mum got example had me at 15 and my sister at 17, she still ran a house, paid the bills, studied and uni & worked a full time job. now we are both older and she is only 35 she goes out with her friends now on holidays, weekends away etc 
so they really is nothing wrong than doing it the other way round
another yes reason for me (i probably shouldn't think like this) but what if you suffered with an illness before having kids that stopped you from having kids naturally? so i always think to do it sooner rather than later and be blessed that you can have kids when others cant
another yes is your gonna have tons of energy to do adventurous things with your kids!
also, since when did "living your life" become about partying and travelling etc
some people's idea of living life is having a family and going on holidays, reaching milestones and growing as a family so don't let people put you off that!!
my only NO reason would be - if your not in a truely stable relationship then don't bring a baby into it x

I had my daughter at 20. I’m now 23 and my husband and I are trying for our second. I think every situation is different. I know this wouldn’t have been as easy if I didn’t have a kick ass partner who’s my teammate in this whole parenting thing. We parent 100/100 and our daughter is the light of our lives. I would never in a million years change my decision to try to start a family young.

If you feel like you’re ready, and you can financially and emotionally support having a kid, go for it!  I know I want to enjoy my youth, but some other people can’t wait for babies, and as long as you know you can support it and you feel like you’re fully ready to handle it, then there’s no reason you shouldn’t!

My grandma always said have kids when you can get away with being an kid. But obviously when you’re mature... so rugrats have you around longer lol
