Men and sickness

Ok. I apologize in advance for the men on here that will see this, but why in the world are men big babies about being sick?! Us women can go through childbirth, periods 12 times a year with a range of pain during each one, we go without sleep to make sure everyone else is ok, we try to keep our mouths closed whenever we feel “not the best” because it is our job to be a caretaker and make sure everyone is ok. My husband has a sore throat and some drainage. I am tired of hearing “I think I’m gonna die.” “Baby, I don’t feel good.” “I think I need to go to the hospital.” Whispering one second and talking normal the next. Now granted something is wrong with his hip and I know it’s bothering him and he did get sick last night but I figured it was from the drainage. He also hasn’t been eating because that’s his idea of “dieting” at the moment.

I had maybe 3 hours of sleep last night then our almost 10 month old woke up this morning from all the coughing and nose blowing. I am exhausted. I am aggravated. I am also BURNED. Half my back, legs, and arms. Went outside and stained the fence around our house, stained concrete on our patio, and stained the concrete around the pool. I’m not sitting here complaining constantly. 🙄

I guess I just needed to vent for a second.

But seriously? Why is a cold such a “death like thing” for a man? 🤦🏻‍♀️
