We just found out we are pregnant on Thursday. I think that puts us at 4.5 weeks from conception today.

We are going to Hawaii next week with my husbands family - Mom dad brother sis-in-law. They knowwwww I’m a fish eater, and Hawaii is always sashimi time for me. I obviously won’t be eating any this time around.

My husband wants to tell them on our first night there so there’s no speculation and we don’t have to dance around it. I would let them speculate, but he’s right in that they’ll just talk about it behind our backs anyway (“she’s totally pregnant yada yada”)

What’re your thoughts. Would 5.5weeks be too early to tell your immediate family?
