Possible Luteal Phase Defect? Late ovulation?

Question

Does anyone else ovulate quite late in their cycle? I usually ovulate around CD 19 but my luteal phase is around 12 days. Once I didn't ovulate until CD 21. Could that be preventing me from getting pregnant? 
My cycle ranges from 28 to 34 days. It's normally about 31.

I think luteal phase defect is when it's less than 10 days.

When your lethel phase is less then 10 days you can have a hard time staying pregnant

No that sounds normal. On average my cycle is 35 days. I don’t get my positive opk until cd 21 meaning I ovulate around cd 22-23. Which is normal for a 35 day cycle. If you have longer cycles.. you ovulate later. And a 12 day luteal phase is perfectly normal. Now if your luteal phase was shorter than 10 days that could mean you have a problem with progesterone which could cause problems sustaining a pregnancy, but you seem fine.

That's good news. I just keep reading about how your luteal phase should be 14 days and mine is never that long. 
We have a 2 year old daughter but she wasn't planned so I'm relatively new to the whole ttc business.
