I want to get married

How should I bring it up to my boyfriend that I want to get married? We just welcomed our first baby and I’m overwhelmed with love. I don’t want to get married right away but I wouldn’t mind being engaged for a few years. What’s a romantic way to tell him I’m ready to be his forever?
