HELP! Empty sac?

Question

Thought i was exactly 6 weeks yesterday & I went for my first ultrasound. Abdominal scan and all we saw was an empty sac! The technician said I am measuring just before 6 weeks. Anyone had this and been ok?? Going back in 2 weeks to check. This was my first cycle after MC and I ovulated late on CD24 so imguessing this would put me behind a little? Just worried 😩

I could be completely wrong but i thought you can’t really see anything but the sac until closer to 7 weeks. Maybe your not as far as you thought?

Try your best not to worry. If you ovulated later than normal, then yes, you’re not as far along as you thought you were. I had this happen to me at my 6+4wk appt but mine was different. There was no fetal pole or yolk sac and there was an abnormal looking formation near the sac. They sent me to get blood work to test my hCG and it was very low in the 600’s. So, that pregnancy ended with a D&C.; Don’t worry bc I have heard of other pregnancies turning around due to late ovulation. I’ll be praying for you and I hope everything turns out good for you. 🙏🏼💕
