Bleeding

So two days ago I started bleeding ... ALOT but I had no cramping and no pain. I called my midwife and of course the first thing she says is "miscarriage" -_- I don't know if it's really happening but now these past few nights iv been having brown blood.... I'm not sure if maybe the twins are pushing against something or if I'm really miscarrying. Has any other women out there with twins had this problem?!
