Are probiotics safe while pregnant? I am 17w with twins.

Yikes, you’d think they would be but FOR SURE ask your doctor!!

My doctor told me they’re safe to take and are often recommended, but still check with your own doctor

I asked my OBGYN this week and they said its fine for just the probiotic, but not some combo vitamins/ mix/ probiotic + 
I brought the bottle and she said the one im taking is fine. Some studies show reduced risk of GBS while on probiotics

You would hope so, but the research isn’t there. Best ask your doctor. 
But in pregnancy it’s best not to do anything unless absolutely needed. Probiotics are not needed.
