I am an author and right now I am in the R and D stage of my latest book. In this book I am developing my character has escaped from an abusive relationship after he beat her to the point she went into labor at 25 weeks. If any of you wonderful warrior mamas are willing to share your stories with me. My big questions are these:

How long were you in the NICU?

What, if any, were the lasting effects?

What were the medical requirements baby had to reach before they could be released from the NICU?

How long did it take baby to catch up in the height/weight percentiles?
