I love credit cards and have 4. No annual fees, I get hundreds of dollars of cash back every year, travel insurance, credit cards company bears the risk of loss, good for your credit score, what’s not to love? I pay them off every month so I pay no interest and don’t I spend more than I can afford.

Well apparently, my opinion is in the minority based on another post today so I’m curious how the numbers look. I was completely surprised by the number of people how seem to hate the “vile disgusting things”.

I’m also curious if it’s mostly people who’ve been in credit card debt before who hate them or if it’s the general consensus. I get it if you’ve been in cc debt before that you would hate them.

So, how do you feel about them and why?

Bonus question: do you think there should be more regulation around credit cards or that the maximum interest rate they can charge should be lowered? What would you love to see change?
