high fevers with teething??

My daughter has had 100-102.5 F fever on and off for the last 2 days. I can't find anything wrong with her except that she's sucking her thumb which is new in the last 3 days and fussiness is relieved by ora-gel. No cough, congestion, ear pulling, vomiting, diarrhea and she's eating completely normal.. Any other moms LO have had high fevers with teething??? The last time I was stumped like this her temp went as high as 103.2F and she cut 4 teeth in less then a week. I also can't feel any teeth but her gums are swollen.. Im taking her to her Dr tomorrow just in case. Just wondering if any other mom's teething experience have been like this??
