*for privacy purposes, I will be using false names in this story*

So two of my closest friends, Nadia and Liz, really hate one of my other close friends, Masha. All of us are aware that they hate Masha (including Masha) and all of us are aware that I am still very close to Masha. Nadia and Liz went on an overnight school trip and when they returned, they acted as though I was invisible. At first I thought maybe they're tired from the long trip, it was a whole week after all. But after a couple days, nothing changed. I wanted to think that maybe they just bonded really well on the trip but it seemed more like they had some agreement to hate me for no reason. So I waited a week before messaging both of them "hey if you don't like me pls tell me" and they both reassured me sending me heartfelt messages and junk, so I felt better. However, the next day at school, nothing had changed. I talked to Masha about it and we both thought perhaps they decided to stop talking to me because I'm so close to Masha, but that theory didn't make sense because they still hung out with other people who like Masha. So a week later I message both of them again with "why don't you like me". Nadia hasn't opened my message and is deliberately ignoring it, but I did get a response from Liz. She said she still loves me the same but was mad at me for about a week. She said she was mad because I told Masha about a time I heard her and Nadia trash talking her. The thing is, they already know Masha knows that they hate her. So there's a pretty good chance you guys will trash talk her. It really doesn't matter whether or not I told her. In addition, two other people who were there told Masha before I did, but Liz and Nadia don't know about them. Liz said she felt very betrayed but is okay now. I asked her about Nadia and she said she can't speak on her behalf. Unfortunately, Nadia isn't opening any of my messages so I can't ask her, but I'm guessing she's mad over the same thing only taking it more to heart than Liz. I still feel as though our friendship has been tarnished and there's no way it'll ever be the same. But did I do anything wrong? Regardless of who said it, if my friend is being trash talked, I'm gonna let her know about it. I would have done the same for Liz and Nadia, and I hope that all my friends would do the same for me.
