Untreated hip Dysplasia?

Have anyone bub had hip dysplasia and it was missed at birth and picked up at 7 months ?? How is it treated if your baby crawls and nearly walks ?!

Can I get an update? My daughter was diagnosed at 4 months but can't see a specialist until 6 months. Im worried this is too late and she might need surgery

It is fairly common to have a later diagnosis. We thought mine might have it, but she ended up not having it. You’ll most likely be referred to a children’s hospital to meet with an orthopedic surgeon who will walk you through treatment - whether or not things like physical therapy or surgery will be required.
