Can a depo shot make my period last longer? I got the shot about a month ago and I’ve had my period for two weeks now. Is that normal?

That can include longer time frames with or without bleeding, random bleeding, or frequent bleeding at any given time. And, it’s especially common during the first 3-6 months while ur body is adjusting to the birth control.

Yup, normal. One of the side effects is irregular bleeding. Bothered me so much I switched to the pill and am much happier :)

No it's not normal and it should help to have fewer bleeding and make your period shorter so talk to your doctor about the heavy bleeding
