help..1 month old coughing??

I know you should never use google for answers but everything says if a baby under 4 months has any kind cough to call the doctor?? My baby has had a random sporadic cough through the day and i was worried but not dr worried until now. has anyone has a baby with a little cough? I was thinking it was allergy related. She just turned 1 month old. I was going to call the dr in the morning but this will be a long night. Any advice please!

my baby has a cough and a stuffy nose when she was around that age. i was worried too and wanted to call the doctor but i bought a humidifier and a nose frida and just sucked her nose out and slept with the humidifier on. she was fine! it could just be the weather changing. but if it gets worse definitely call the doctor.

Thank you guys, I took her in and they said she had a little infection and gave her some medication. I went and bought a humidifier aswell!

I would use a humidifier in the mean time :) there's nothing like nice crisp air for a newborn. Maybe that could take the edge off until you get a hold of your Dr
