How many C-Sections can someone have?

I’ve had 3 C-sections and I’m currently TTC baby #4 when I do fall pregnant is it possible to have a fourth C-section? Is there a maximum number of C-sections one can have? Thanks!

Usually 4-5 with no issues.  My friends mom had one with all her kids and she has 4. And my friend had 3.  Depending on the scar tissue and if there were prior complications they will tell you on a case by case basis if you will be safe to have another one.

Hi I was told when I had my daughter 9 month ago no limit to what it use to be ,I had my first emergency section in2008 when my daughter came 9 weeks early 9 month ago I tried for vbac after 2 sections but midwife failed to see scar was tearing ended up emergency section I thought that was it there going to say no more children but no I asked they said wait 3 month then I could start TTc they said no limit as they can cut you in different places . I’m currently 5 month preg and this will be planned c section I am classed as high risk but it’s only cause I have a fresh scar and stretching

I always wondered this too..how can they put a limit on it if a woman can conceive and if she does how else do they get baby out?

Typically your obgyn will tel you. Both my mom and my friend were allowed 3 c sections max.
