Considering leaving work 32 weeks.....

Kaleigh

I know it’s early to leave work. Honestly I wanted to be one of those women that worked up until the day the had their baby. But I’m a chef/kitchen manager at a very busy restaurant. It’s so physically demanding. My doctor told me to sit and prop my feet up at work as much as possible but I almost laughed when she told me that... I can’t work sitting down. I have to be on feet and running around, working by a 700 degree oven, picking heavy things up. My coworkers have tried their hardest to make it easier for me and I appreciate it so much but the point it I can’t ask them to do everything for me when we are all busy. In this past week I’ve had really bad pelvic pain that I plan on bringing up to my doctor next week. I’m just not sure if I should talk to my doctor about being signed off yet. I’ve cut my hours back but still when I get home at night I can barely walk, and my feet and ankles are so swollen. I just don’t want to seem incapable.... 😕
