Variation in kick counts
I didn't really do kick counts throughout my pregnancy because I thought I would drive myself crazy over stupid stuff if I did. And my doctor never recommended them. Well, at my last appointment she did, because I did have the impression that my baby is moving less now (I am 38+4 today). And of course now I am indeed driving myself crazy over them. For those of you who have done this longer, do you get a great variation in how long it takes your baby to make those 10 movements? In the evening and after dinner, mine often gets there in 20 minutes or even less, but during the day it can take the full hour that my doctor said is the time frame. How long do other babies take? And do you do much to encourage movement, like drink ice water, eat something sweet or poke your belly?
