VBAC how early after first c-section?

Hey everyone,
My doctor recommends waiting 2 years before having a second baby. My mom is dying of cancer and we’d like to try asap but I do want to try a VBAC as we want 5 kids. How soon can we try without having the pregnancy be considered high-risk? I’ve heard 18 months is the minimum.

My boss had a successful VBAC 18 months after her c-section. I will be attempting a VBAC around 2 years and 2 months after my c-section and my doctor said I'm a good candidate. It depends on the doctor.

Absolutely 18 months minimum. My daughter will be born 3 months after her brothers 2nd birthday and even then my doctor said would be pushing it, but that he believes I'll be a good candidate for one.
