Why so much hate?

Just asking, please don't be mean..... It's not like the teens chose to get pregnant, not all of them murder their kids, or mistreat them. Some teen mothers actually turn their life's around when they become pregnant. Why does everyone on here seem so mean about it? To be honest they need support, not anymore negative comments....

Me and my boy have been together for amost two years and I got pregnant the first time we had sex. I'm  18. And he's 19. He works and I'm a stay at home mom. We completely turned our lives around. We have a place together and two cars. And we had no help from our parents. Message me if you need anything to talk about.

​My name is shaydi i am 181/2 years old but I'll be turning 19 in 2 months. I may be young but I'm reedy to be a mom and I'll be the best mom too.
​My mother had me at age 17 only a year and a half younger then any she dis a wanderful job raising me and I'll so the same when my little angel comes into this world.

thanks Elizabeth... I've spoke through with mom and as there's a spare room she's willing to let us use it for time being.. she wasn't too please when I told her I want to try but ever so supportive, my nanna who sadly passed left me a large amount of money for deposit on house and car, she was a young mom to my mom.. I would love to her to be here to talk with. anyway we think we're ready so I guess well jus see what happens and I'll let you know what happens.

Ella I know how you feel wanting a child young. I do believe that you will be happier in the long run if you wait a little longer. If you still live at home with your parents things can get really tough. Most mothers who's teen daughters have children treat that child as there own and question your abilities as a mother. That will not be a fun situation. I would highly recommend waiting til you are in your own home with someone you know will stick by your side and the support of the people around you. I do think you will be happier that way. However as I said if you do make choices different than I would I will not hate you or call you names just wish you the best. Just make sure you've thought it completely through because people will talk and it will hurt. Just make sure you are prepared for that.

I would not recommend trying for a child while still living at home etc. either. However once something has happened it can't be taken back. A pregnancy and a child is much more enjoyable when you have everything ready and set and you have the support of your loved ones and a spouse that you know will be there. The thing I try to keep in mind is that sometimes you can make it work and sometimes you can't. I have seen it first hand many times. My mom was a teen mom her and my dad have been married 22 years now. On the other hand I have seen things go terribly bad. I personally am firm advocate of waiting til marriage for sex and children but it does me no good to hurt others who made decisions that are different than mine. I do agree that it is a mistake. A mistake that grown adults make too it just isn't looked at as poorly. I know someone who was on depo and practicing safe sex and got pregnant twice.

Ella, if you want the best for your child, you will wait. There's a big difference between a job and a career. There's also a big difference between a high school sweetheart and a life long partner.

​Vyctoria, reading your posts is enough to see why adults are harsh on kids having kids. 
​A baby is NOT a 'mistake' as you put it repeatedly. Have safe sex please until you are mature enough to raise a human being. 
​I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but you are very obviously not ready.

I wish there were more people like this around.. I'm doing well at school and got a little job but my partner has a full time job with my step dad, we're all sure we can do it, but I'm just worried what people will say I just want the best for my child x

I personally dont "hate" the teenagers that get pregnant. Most do step up and care for their child or children. Most say they got pregnant by accident. Well for thoes like me and alot of others that have been trying for years+++ it is jealousy and anger towards themselves even though they may put it on the "teens" its just really about themselves.  It has been and will be a long journey for us to conceive. It hits us hard when a "teen" says it was by accident when we have been trying so hard for what was easy for the "teen". I do wish you luck and support if you are pregnant or already have a child or considering getting pregnant.
