Was it done right?

I went to the doctor today because this is my second month without a period and they're blaming my birth control but something. Just doesn't feel right with my body. I wasn't asked about my symptoms over these two months or anything. They gave me a urine test and the doctor stuck a finger inside and felt around a little. I don't know why I was expecting more from the visit. But it was comforting/slightly awkward to have my boyfriend there with me.
