Are some people just evil?

Question

I've always thought that everyone has good and evil, and maybe lean in one direction or the other.
So I just finished listening to a true crime podcast. Everyone in the podcast who knew the guy said he was pure evil: acquaintances, police men, his daughters, ex wife, sisters, I think even his mom had bad things to say. It made me think, if we are all a mix of good and bad are some people all bad?

It’s better for the podcast if they don’t interview people who say he was just a regular joe or anybody who was friendly to him. Personally I think the devil and god are raging inside us all.

I believe that some people come into this world with either a predisposition for inflicting pain on others for their own enjoyment. Those people have a more difficult time making moral choices due to this genetic factor. The actions they do are evil. The soul itself is not. And when their bodies pass, they’ll face their own judgment and spiritual consequences.

Probably not completely and totally, like maybe the guy was nice to one person once, but there are the more evil and the less evil. There’s plenty of stories to make you lose faith in humanity. That’s why it’s important to balance what you hear.
