Interesting story about brain death and pregnancy.

Ce

A mother has a massive stoke and is declared brain dead. She's on a ventilator and her body kept viable for over 100 days so that her twin feti are carred to fetal vability and are born via cesarean, at which point I'm assuming dad stepped in to raise them. The mom was then pulled from the vent and there's no further updates I'm aware of. Now, before this woman died one of her final conversations with her SO was about that she wasn't coming home. She knew what her outcome would be. It's an interesting story. So if you were in her situation (that is being aware you'll pass soon) would you want your fetus carried to viability and then be raised by family, or let nature take its course and allow the unviable feti to go with you? Maybe you'd leave it up to your SO?
