Does anyone know if it’s possible to adopt with a violent misdemeanor

When I was 18 I was arrested for slapping my moms abusive boyfriend. I’m now 23, neither of them are in my life, I have a toddler and one on the way with my husband. We want to adopt some day but I’m not sure if it’d be possible for me?? Anyone know anything?? Or have any advice??

even getting it taken off they will find it it's a waste of money your best bet is not to go through an agency there's lots of people who can't afford agencies so there's lots of babies out there they would need you and I don't think you'll have an issue considering it's misdemeanor I think adopting is so beautiful  I'm sure you'll find a way
