confused

so i went to the doctor today cause i thought i found a lump in my breast. they swelled up really bad last night and if anyone on here already has kids , i swear the feeling i had was as if i needed to pump milk out. so i went to see my doctor. she felt around and talked to me for awhile. i explained ttc and everything under the sun. she said the way my breasts felt was definitely as though i am pregnant but she tested me and it was negative. i’m 14dpo. she said to wait till the end of this week and test again and if negative wait another week. if nothing still i needed to go back. does anyone have any insight ? this is my first time tracking and following all of this. i have a 3 year old and i didn’t do this when we where ttc him. does anyone get positives a week after period is due ? she assumed i was a 28 day cycle so i should get my period friday. if i didn’t to test saturday or sunday. i am just confused i guess. do i still have a chance or am i out ??
